| Ginna Fleming, Secretary |
|
Ginna Fleming’s interest in people and cultures around the world began more than 40 years ago in Peace Corps/Nigeria. After retirement from a career managing public and private programs to improve the futures of children in the District of Columbia, she has traveled extensively photographing people and events in Asia, Africa, Mexico, Europe, the Middle East and the United States.
In 2008 she accompanied Camilla Barry to Afghanistan and documented her work there as well as that of several other nonprofit organizations serving women and children there. Her photo book of that journey, “Another Afghanistan,” is available on her website: www.ginnafleming.com. Proceeds from the sale of that book support the work of Classrooms Across Cultures.
