In 2009 Afghanistan’s Ministry of Education asked Camilla Barry to develop lesson plans to illustrate principles embodied in the national science teacher training curriculum through the hands-on science experiments that she has been successfully using in the country since 2003.

That project will be completed during the summer of 2010 when Camilla will be in Kabul to finalize the plans, now in the process of being translated into Pashto and Dari languages. They have been illustrated by a local Afghan artist. Videos of Camilla teaching the lessons will be made and DVDs will be distributed throughout the country.
